Our purpose is two-fold: promote the study of Bujinkan martial arts in our region; and support the growth of the Bujinkan Community in Canada.

Located in the city of Winnipeg, we are directly affiliated to the Bujinkan Hombu (Headquarters) in Noda-shi, Chiba-ken, Japan. We conduct our classes with the support and encouragement of Hatsumi-sensei while also enjoying, and appreciating, the fellowship of other Bujinkan practitioners and enthusiasts worldwide.

Our Practice

Our practice encompasses all aspects of the Bujinkan Dojo curriculum, which is drawn from nine classical martial traditionsGyokko Ryu Kosshijutsu, Koto Ryu Koppojutsu, Gikan Ryu Koppojutsu, Hontai Takagi Yoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu, Shinden Fudo Ryu Dakentaijutsu, Kukishinden Ryu Happobiken, Gyokushin Ryu Ninpo, Kumogakure Ryu Ninpo, and Togakure Ryu Ninpo.. Study includes such proficiencies as close quarter grappling and striking, swords and other edged weaponry, long and short staff, spear and halberd, chain and rope weapons, truncheon, arresting, restraint and unorthodox weaponry.

We conduct a variety of classes each week; unarmed techniques [Taijutsu], Japanese sword [Bikenjutsu], and other traditional weapons [Buki].

Taijutsu classes are limited to twelve students per class. Bikenjutsu\Buki classes are limited to ten students per class. This ensures that you will receive a level of personal attention in each class that you simply cannot find elsewhere.

All classes are taught by an internationally certified instructor at our centrally located Dojo.
